On the Bus (book)

An account of the culturally significant 1964 cross-country road trip on "the bus": the psychedelic painted school bus nicknamed "Further," on which Ken Kesey and the merry pranksters travelled from Palo Alto to New York City. One destination was the World's Fair, and also meetings with Kerouac and Timothy Leary. Great companion to both "The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test" book and "Magic Trip" dvd.
